Toddler Adoption
It is tempting to think of toddlers as just big babies or small children, but toddler adoption is quite different from adopting an infant or an older child. Toddlers are old enough to know that their world is being rocked and that everything they knew and understand is changing, but not old enough to have this change explained to them. They also do not have the language to express their confusion.
